Elder Reed and Sister Vicki Fanning, LDS Senior Missionaries

August 23, 2015

Sunday

This morning Sister Fanning was not feeling well when she woke up.  She went back to bed to sleep.

Elder Fanning went to Ward Council and the block of meetings.  It seemed that every child in the Ward was having a bad day during Sacrament meeting.  He said it was really noisy. Elder Fanning found one of the little girls in the ward in the gymnasium and went to take her back to her mom.  She wanted to stay with him, so he took her to high priest group.  She seems to love grandpas.

Elder Fanning got home about 12:30. We had steak and salad for lunch.

Sister Fanning was feeling better so she got ready for the meetings we had.  We went to teach lesson seven to Joel and Alice.  We had a good lesson talking about staying connected as a family when you are separated.

We picked up Tiffany and went back to the apartment to pick up some cookies.  We had a call from Tad.  He is the one in our group who we visited in the Fresno Jail.  He needed a ride to group because the person who usually brings him was out of town.  We picked him up and made it to the Hanford group just in time.  We had a large group.  We had someone who usually comes to Lemoore group come to Hanford because he moved.  We also had a lady come who does not have an addiction but heard that the program teaches the atonement really well.  Everyone likes to have cookies and conversation afterwards.

We left for Lemoore for institute. We had four students come.  We taught the last two lessons on the Book of Mormon.  We will take a break for a few weeks and then start another class.

We got home at 9:30 after taking Tiffany back to the base.
