This morning Sister Fanning took Lacey to the base hospital for a three hour glucose test. The doctor thinks she might have gestational diabetes. Due to some equipment issues, it took almost six hours. Sister Fanning then took her to the commissary to pick up a few items.
She got home about 3:30. Elder Fanning had a chance to relax while she was gone.
We relaxed for a couple of hours and watched a movie. Sister Fanning was tired after sitting for six hours at the hospital.
We left for missionary correlation meeting. We discussed the sisters’ investigators and recent converts.
We had to leave early to meet with a new family in the Ward. This was a part-member family who has been here for about a year. She has been hiding. Her mother felt impressed to call the Ward and get her records transferred. She is from Idaho. Hazel and Silas are moving onto the base from their apartment in Lemoore. They need help loading the truck, so the Ward is furnishing a team. They don’t want home or visiting teachers to come see them, but they will let us visit.
We got back to the chapel just as the missionary meeting was ending. Sister Fanning talked to a member of the Relief Society Presidency for quite a while about some of the sisters on the base. We also talked about her daughters who have fibromyalgia. Elder Fanning went to the meeting about home and visiting teaching in the Ward.
We got home about 8:30.
Sister Fanning made cookie dough and Elder Fanning worked on trying to get some of the military families on our visiting and home teaching list.
