This morning Sister Fanning made a grocery list and prepared to go grocery shopping. Elder Fanning worked to make sure everything was going well for the Elder in the hospital. His surgery was postponed. Elder Fanning was in contact with the mission president.
We went grocery shopping and took the groceries back to the apartment. We left for the Hanford hospital as soon as we put away the groceries. Our missionary had already been taken to surgery. We found out that his surgery had not yet started. So, we left to run an errand and get some lunch.
When we got back to the hospital, the surgery had finished and the doctor was gone. We did find out that the surgery went well. We met him in his room a half hour later. He was feeling quite well. The Ward Mission Leader and his wife visited. After they left, the Mission President and his wife came. Then we had the Hanford elders show up. Our missionary got texts for a couple from the Ward and some YSAs who all told him they were bringing food. At that point, we decided to leave so there would be more room for the other visitors.
When we got home, Sister Fanning worked on the PowerPoint for the institute class. She went to the General Women’s Conference. It was really good. The talks were wonderful, and the refreshments were all delicious.
Elder Fanning did some computer work while Sister Fanning was gone. She got home about 8:45.
