This morning Sister Fanning woke up at 4:15 am with a horrible headache. She took some medicine and went back to bed and slept the headache off. She got up at 10:30 and felt much better.
Elder Fanning went to Church meetings by himself. The meetings were noneventful. One of the military families was supposed to bless their baby, but apparently wires got crossed and it did not happen. It is rescheduled for the week after General Conference.
We had steak and salad for lunch. We left early for Hanford. We went to see our elder in the hospital. He is doing pretty well; but still in a lot of pain. He has had a lot of visitors. The Hanford elders came while we were there to give him the Sacrament.
We went to the Spouse and Family Support Group. No one showed up. We had Tiffany come early for group really upset, and we talked to her for a while. She had to work today and had other employees belittle her for wanting Sunday off to go to Church. She then had someone confront her about loitering in the Church parking lot while she was waiting for group. We are sure it was not intentional, but someone judged her by her appearance as a non-church goer.
We had six people come to Addiction Recovery Group. It was a good meeting talking about forgiveness. We had some cookies left over. We gave them to the zone leaders to share with the Hanford elders.
We went to institute. We had six students come. We talked about the Role of Jesus Christ in God’s Plan. We had a lot of discussion. One of our students approached Sister Fanning about the Lemoore Addiction Recovery Group for anger management. She will start coming on Thursday.
We got home about 9:00. We invited Tiffany to come stay over because she was having such a bad day. She took us up on the offer and got to our apartment about 10:00.
