We left for Hanford about 10:00. We inspected the two apartments for the elders. Unfortuately, neither one had a perfect apartment. We talked to them about trying harder, but left the cookies anyway.
We then left for Corcoran to inspect the sister missionaries’ apartment. They did an excellent job and got a smiley face. We took them to lunch at the only Chinese restaurant in town – and they have excellent and abundant food.
When we got home, we went to the NAS hospital to pick up some refills on prescriptions for Sister Fanning. We also went to get gasoline and the cleaners. We went to the commissary for groceries.
We had enough time to drop off the groceries and put away the cold food. We left to visit Penny and her two little ones. Her husband is still on work-ups, and she is hanging in there with the baby. She still has not delivered, but should have the baby any time. She had two other ladies there with their children so we did not stay very long.
We went straight to Ward Game Night. We had a good turnout for volleyball. We played And It Came to Pass with the wives of the bishop and his counselor. It was a fun time.
We got home about 9:00.
