Sister Fanning made a Snickers cake first thing this morning. She then prepared a chicken Caesar salad for lunch with the missionaries. We also had French rolls. We had a good lunch and enjoyed visiting with the Sisters and Elders.
Sister Fanning made another Snickers cake for family home evening. We did some relaxing in the afternoon. Elder Fanning found something he wanted to share for family home evening from the Ensign.
We had a really good family home evening. Elder Fanning gave the lesson on The Owl Express, a story from Elder Talmage. We had a family of five come, along with a mom and son who came because Dad was working. Tiffany, Cade, Kyra, and Coral came; and Tiffany brought her young nephew. We had the sister missionaries come. We had two young single adults from the Ward. We also had Joseph come late with a nonmember friend. With us, that made twenty. We had three groups playing different games. We were able to eat or send home all of the Snickers cake. That was a good thing for our diets.
We got home about 9:00.
