We had a CES Training Meeting in Fresno today, but we were unable to make it due to other responsibilities.
Sister Fanning prepared the menu and grocery list. We went shopping at the exchange and commissary and had lunch at Panda Express.
We prepared our institute lesson throughout the day between other things.
We needed to make some visits on the base. We made nine stops and only found three families home. We saw Jimmy and Allie and their new baby Mia. She is growing fast and is really cute. They are moving forward to bless the baby, but there are some things to work out – Jimmy is not an elder yet and Allie wants the baby baptized into the Catholic Church.
We also saw another family who is not very welcoming. We were able to come in, but were never offered somewhere to sit. They talked to us for a little bit, but were more interested in the football game on the television.
We also went to see a new family who arrived on Monday. Eli and Delta arrived from Norfolk. They have four children: two teenagers, one primary age, and one two-year-old. There is also another baby on the way. We had a nice visit with them. They are active in the Church and are looking forward to the Ward. They will be a great addition to the Ward. We are looking forward to getting to know them better.
We stopped at a house in Lemoore to see a family, but they were not available.
We got home about 7:00. We spent some time doing things around the house.
