Tis morning we had interviews with President Clark. We got their early to help set up. We had a really nice visit with President and Sister Clark.
We picked up the mission vacuum cleaner from the repair shop, mailed a birthday card, and picked up a gift card at Target. We also had lunch at Habit Burger.
We went home and started packing. Sister Fanning also baked four dozen cookies. We got everything except our clothes packed and organized for the trip ahead.
We went to Coalinga for Addiction Recovery Group. We only had one person there. She really needs the contact so we will continue to go as long as she comes.
We stopped at the base to give Candy’s son, Taylor, a blessing. He is having surgery on Tuesday to have tonsils and adenoids taken out. We had a quick visit.
We stopped at another home but there was no answer at the door.
We picked up a sister to take her to the Addiction Recovery Group in Lemoore. She and the facilitator were the only ones there. We talked about Step 6: Change of Heart. Sister Fanning had both gluten free cookies and regular cookies at the meeting.
We stopped at the home of the second counselor in the Bishopric. Their family is taking care of family home evening while we are gone. We dropped off the game bag and some addiction recovery materials for someone who is taking care of a couple of our groups. The person who is doing that is a high counselor and speaking at our Ward on Sunday.
We dropped the sister off who came to the Addiction Recovery Group at her place on the way home. We got home about 9:00.
We either packed or laid out all of the clothes we were taking for the trip. We also straightened the house a little bit and packed some miscellaneous items.
