Bold Adventurers

Elder Reed and Sister Vicki Fanning, LDS Senior Missionaries

February 29, 2016

Monday

The four missionaries came to lunch today.  We had chicken taco casserole, homemade guacamole, grapes, and white chocolate cranberry pecan scones for dessert.  The lunch was a hit and we had a good time visiting.

We went to the base to drop off Sister Troseth’s paperwork to get a base pass.  We also went to the hospital to get a copy of Sister Fanning’s lab tests.

Sister Fanning made three more batches of scones for family home evening – white chocolate cranberry pecan, butterscotch coconut, and chocolate chip pecan.

We left early so we could get gasoline.

We had a huge group at family home evening again – 30 people.  We had two military families, a Navy wife who is investigating the gospel and her two children, Coral and her three grandchildren, a young military couple, the sister missionaries, three young single adults, Tiffany and her nephew, and us. We had a game table for the kids, and three games going for the adults.

We stayed later than usual, and got home about 9:00.
