Elder Fanning went to Men’s Bible Study at the base chapel this morning. He enjoys talking to the chaplain about the Book of Revelations. One of the men attending has investigated the Church before and has a Book of Mormon. Elder Fanning challenged him to study it some more and pray about it.
Sister Fanning made some oatmeal coconut butterscotch cookie dough. She is going to bake the cookies tomorrow. She also made some gluten free chocolate chip cookies from a mix. They turned out really well. One of the people who come to the Lemoore Addiction Recovery Group is gluten intolerant, so Sister Fanning makes a batch of gluten free cookies, freezes them, and takes a few each week for her.
We went to Coalinga for Addiction Recovery Meeting. We had the same two sisters there. They are such a pleasure to meet with. We started the book again with the introduction. Elder Fanning calculated that when we finish Step 12, we will be finishing our mission.
We stopped at Quiznos at a truck stop on the I-5 for dinner. Elder Fanning had a beef sandwich; and Sister Fanning had chicken. By the time we got home, Sister Fanning was feeling pretty sick. She thinks it was food poisoning.
Elder Fanning had to go to the Lemoore Addiction Recovery Group by himself. There were three people there. The meeting went well.
