Elder Reed and Sister Vicki Fanning, LDS Senior Missionaries

March 15, 2016

Tuesday

We had district meeting in Coalinga this morning at 10:30.  We had to leave at 9:30.  We had the Coalinga elders and sisters at the meeting along with a member from the Coalinga Ward.  They had three trainings and some role plays.

We inspected their apartments afterward.  Both teams of missionaries did really well.  We took them to lunch for Chinese afterwards.  The food was great and we had a nice visit and got to know them better.

We stopped at the military hospital on the way home.  Sister Fanning is having no luck at all getting an appointment with a rheumatologist.  She faxed the referral, chart notes, and lab work to the doctor in Caldwell, Idaho, from Staples.  They did not receive it.  She went to the hospital to have the referral office fax the information again.  She waited while they faxed it twice.  They finally got a confirmation.  When she called the doctor office to see if they got the fax, the office was closed early.

We had only a few minutes at home before we had to leave for Fresno.  We went to the 6:00 endowment session at the Temple.  We enjoyed the Temple.

By the time we got home, it was almost 10:00.  It had been a long day.
