We started the day with our resiliency class at 10:30. Only 2 couples came. We taught Penny the first lesson on Thursday. We will have to make arrangements to teach the class to the other three couples. The young men in the Ward were supposed to take care of the nursery. No one showed up. The Young Men’s President had car trouble so he was late. Sister Fanning went into the nursery for the first 20 minutes of class. When he showed up, Sister Fanning went back into the class. We had a good class with lots of participation.
We went home to prepare our Institute lesson. We got everything put together and prepared.
One of the couples who missed the resiliency class got in touch with us. We went to their home and taught the first lesson. We found out they were in the car ready to go when their 11-year-old son got upset and stormed away. They spent a lot of time looking for him. They still had not found him when we got there at 4:00. He did show up later in the day.
We got home about 5:30. We relaxed for the rest of the day.
