Bold Adventurers

Elder Reed and Sister Vicki Fanning, LDS Senior Missionaries

August 12, 2017

This morning we took it easy and slowly.  We left to go grocery shopping about noon.

We picked up some things at the Exchange. While we were there, a salesman gave a demonstration on some rings you can mount on your tablet or phone so you don’t drop them.  You can also use it to hang your electronics on a hook anywhere you want to place the hook.  It also works as a stand to prop you electronics up hands-free. We got a couple and will see if they work.

There was a donations-only car wash given by the Petty Officers who will be promoted to Chief Petty Officer next year.  It costs them a lot in uniform upgrades.  They didn’t like the way our car looked after the first wash so they washed it a second time.  It took a couple of hours because there were so many having their cars washed.  It looked good afterwards.

We stopped at the commissary for some groceries.  We took them home and put away the frozen and cold food.

We went exploring this afternoon.  Sister Fanning found a place called Eastlake where there were a lot of stores and restaurants.  We found a Trader Joe’s, a Sprouts Grocery Store, and a Nothing Bundt Cake Store.  We also found a Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang’s, Chik fil a, and many more.  We had dinner at Romano’s Macaroni Grill.

We spent the rest of the evening doing computer work and relaxing.  We got to bed on time.
